PORT SAID (GoPharaohs.com) - In a very tense match in Port Said, Ismaily was able to score its first away win of the season at the expense of Masry.
Masry came ahead in the 55th minute when ex-Ahly player Mohamed Fadls scored their lone goal. However, Ismaily pulled one back four minutes later when the referee awarded Ismaily a penalty, which Ahmed el Gamal comfortably capitalized on. In the 86th minute, Abdullah el Shahat, one of Ismaily’s young stars, was able to score the winning goal for Ismaily.

Tottenham Hotspur were held to an exciting 2-2 draw by Premiership new-boys Wigan on Sunday, despite Egypt star Mido scoring one and assisting Jermaine Defoe for another. Andreas Johansson grabbed a brace for Wigan, and must surely have played his way into the League Cup final next week.

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Egyptian international star Mohamed Aboutraika scored a brace as Al Ahly eased past Kroum 3-0 on Saturday. The reigning champions stay stop with 11 wins in 11, four points clear of Zamalek in second and six points clear of ENPPI in third. Kroum stay bottom.

The Army defeated Ismaily by a lone goal in their Saturday match in the Egyptian League. Walid Osman scored for the Army in the 33rd minute during a very mediocre first half. The second half witnessed much more open play, but Ismaily was unable to equalize.
