Ismaily defeats Masry 2-1

PORT SAID (GoPharaohs.com) - In a very tense match in Port Said, Ismaily was able to score its first away win of the season at the expense of Masry.
Masry came ahead in the 55th minute when ex-Ahly player Mohamed Fadls scored their lone goal. However, Ismaily pulled one back four minutes later when the referee awarded Ismaily a penalty, which Ahmed el Gamal comfortably capitalized on. In the 86th minute, Abdullah el Shahat, one of Ismaily’s young stars, was able to score the winning goal for Ismaily.
Ismaily coach Theo Bucker debuted several youth players during the match, in an attempt to restore Ismaily’s spirit. Ahmed Khairy played for the first time in the sweeper position, and was able to organize Ismaily’s defense. In addition, Ahmed Khalifa played in midfield, taking over Ahmed Fathy’s position, while Fathy was given the responsibility of marking Masry’s strikers. Finally, Egyptian Youth Team star Abdullah el Saeed started as a striker alongside Mohamed Mohsen Abu Greisha.
The result catapults Ismaily to 19 points, with Masry almost trailing the League table at 13 points.
