CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - In preparation for the upcoming FIFA Club World Championship to be held in Tokyo, Japan, Al-Ahly will play against one of Japans Premier league teams. The match is scheduled for Decemeber 6th. It will not be televised.

CAIRO (FilGoal.com) - Sheffield United have made an official offer on Wednesday to acquire the services of Zamalek players Amr Zaki and Ibrahim Saied in the upcoming winter transfer period.
Zamalek received an official fax from ‘4 Steps’ Player Management Company confirming Sheffield’s interest in both players. The Premiership requested that both players travel to England on December 3rd, 2006 for a one-week trial period and medical before finalizing the deal.

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily indicated that the team is in search for a new star striker. This comes after trials with Brazilian player Edison Cardozo have failed. Ismaily states that the player is not up to standard. Cardozo played a friendly match with Ismaily against Abu Khalifa, another team from Ismailia in the Egyptian B-League, and did not meet Ismaily officials’ expectations.
