Ismaily search for star striker

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily indicated that the team is in search for a new star striker. This comes after trials with Brazilian player Edison Cardozo have failed. Ismaily states that the player is not up to standard. Cardozo played a friendly match with Ismaily against Abu Khalifa, another team from Ismailia in the Egyptian B-League, and did not meet Ismaily officials’ expectations.

The striker position at Ismaily has been plagued by injuries resulting in the current gap in the lineup. The few strikers that Ismaily currently has include Mohamed Fadl and Mohamed Hassan Abu-Greisha, who has been playing despite the multitude of side-effects from previous injuries. With a new striker, the team will be able to better convert all of the great efforts exerted by the rest of the players, the club says.
