Al-Ahly confident after Japan friendly
TOKYO (GoPharaohs.com) - In preparation for their upcoming FIFA World Club Championship opening match with New Zealand’s Aukland City on Sunday, December 10th, Al-Ahly played a friendly match against FC Kariya, a local Japanese club. Al-Ahly played a strong offensive match winning 2-1 over their Japanese rivals.
Emad Meteb put Al-Ahly up 1-0 early on in the 15th minute of the first half. Flavio scored Al-Ahly’s second goal towards the end of the first half in the 40th minute. FC Kariya managed to score their only goal in the 70th minute of the game.
