Al-Ahly eye the bronze

TOKYO (GoPharaohs.com) - African champions Al-Ahly continued their practice leading up to Sunday’s game against North American champs Club America from Mexico. The two teams will clash on December 17th at Yokohama for the third place title of the FIFA Club World Championship. The game is scheduled to be played at 7:20am GMT (according to the FIFA website).

This match is of tremendous importance to Al-Ahly. If they win the bronze, they would be the first team in Egypt, African and the Arab world to win a third place position in an official international tournament such as the CWC. Despite Club America’s landlside loss against Barcelona, Al-Ahly is taking their Mexican opponent seriously. Ahly players indicated that they will be playing to win tomorrow.
