I thought [Internacional] were very lucky to beat us…the ref was horrible…but whatever, a loss is a loss. I’m very proud of the team though nonetheless, although that 2nd goal really knocked the wind out of us. Oh…and Hadary’s injury kinda took away from the momentum of the game. I think it’s going to be difficult for us holding on to Flavio…..he’s really a gem.
AlRagelElmasry:
I’m very satisfied, we played better than the Brazilians and proved we can contend against the best.
footballnut:
Hard luck! Very proud of ahly they gave the brazilians excellent competition and more then exceeded my expectations.
fahmy:
Hard luck a hundred times. Ahly was much better for the most part of the match, but defensive play and apparently a lack of physical fitness allowed the Brasilians to dominate more in the second half. I hope now this proves to everyone that Egyptian football at its best is no less than any team in the world.

we have to raise our heads high… we could have avioded at least one of the two goals… we had to be more creative after we scored… i just hate it whjen we some real football and we loose… but anyways, we cant ask more than that………the players did the job… and they brough some more glory to the egyptian football…
Rami:
Ahly did Egypt proud!!! Even though Ahly is expected to lose a few players, Ahly will likely get several more good replacements. With good scouting, these players can be replaced. As it is Ahly was missing several key players. Hopefully Ahly can win the 3rd placed match to top off their good performances so far. The only different between Brazilian soccer and Egyptian soccer is the quickness of play and decision making on the field.

I definetly expect to see some offers for Flavio, Abo Treka and Shawky, they were outstanding today. Man Flavio has really improved since he first came to Ahly and Abo Treka is such a great passer of the ball. If Ahly puts the same performance in the third place game i think they will win.
