Ismaily keeper back in action
ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily goalkeeper Mohamed Fathy returned to training with his team again Sunday night after a two week abscence due to a knee injury. The Ismaily medical team has determined that Fathy will not require any surgery on his knee.
A well-balanced, gradual increase in his training regime is what the Daraweesh doctors have determined to be the best path to a full recovery. Ismaily players have been plagued by similar injuries to the knee ligaments this season including Mohamed Mohsen Abu Greisha, Mohamed Fadl, Hany Saeed and Omar Gamal.
Ismaily are currently preparing for their Egyptian Cup round of 32 match against Ittisalat (Telecommuncations) Club at Ismailia. Sabry El-Menyawi is leading the team in the interim while the club searched for a new head coach after their previous head coach Marc Wotte left for an offer to coach a first division club in Holland.
