Ismaily, Zamalek in transfer negotiations

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Negotiations between Ismaily & Zamalek have begun on the transfer of Zamalek player Magdy Atwa to Ismaily. Ismaily want the player to join their ranks before the start of the second half of the Egyptian Premier League season.

Magdy Atwa indicated that he would accept the Ismaily offer contingent upon the final termination of his contract with Zamalek. Zamalek officials requested 550,000LE for the transfer as well as the exchange of two Ismaily youth team players; Ahmed Khalifa and Ahmed Khairy.

Khalifa, who is filling in for Ahmed Fathy, may be tough to let go of. Ahmed Fathy is expected to leave the ranks of Ismaily for Sheffield United of England who have offered 1 million sterling (11 million LE) for his services.
