Olympic, Mansoura, Tersana to Egyptian cup round of 16

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Olympic, Mansoura and Tersana all advanced to the Egyptian cup round of 16 on Friday after defeating Al-Sharkia, Ittehad and Al-Hamoul, respectively.

Olympic defeated Al-Sharkia in Al-Zakazeek 1-0. Mohamed “Ree’o” scored the only goal in the 68th minute. In Mansoura stadium, Mansoura defeated Ittehad 3-1. Mohamed Al-Thabet scored first for Mansoura only 2 minutes into the game. Mostafa Mareey scored the second goal for Mansoura in the 82nd minute, followed by Ittehad’s first goal 2 minutes later. Abd El-Aziz Hassan scored El-Mansoura’s final goal to seal the deal in the 88th minute. Tersana defeated Al-Hamoul 2-1 at Al-Hamoul stadium.
