Zamalek dealt tough group in ACL drawing

 

TUNIS (GoPharaohs.com) - The results of the Arab Champions League quarterfinals drawing Saturday morning puts Egyptian side Zamalek along with Saudi Arabian club Ahly Jeddah, Algerian CA Bordj and Kuwaiti club Qadeseya in group A. While group B included Algerian club ES Setif, Kuwait club, Al-Faisaly from Jordan and Saudi Arabian club Al-Nasr.

The drawing prevented any of the two Saudi, Kuwaiti or Algerian clubs from facing off in the quarterfinals. The teams from each group will play each other twice in a round robin fashion. The top 2 clubs from each group will move on to the semi-finals.

Both Enppi and Ismaily were eliminated in the previous round by Al-Faisaly and CA Bordj, respectively.
