DOHA (GoPharaohs.com) - Egypt defeated Belarus 4-1 to win the final of the 6th Friendship Tournament hosted by Qatar. All five goals were scored in the second half of the match. Belarus scored first from a penalty kick and the Pharaohs soon retaliated with four goals to win the tournament for the third time in the last 6 years.

In fact, 2007 is one of those rare, odd times that come along only once every four years when no World Cup qualifying or African Cup of Nations finals matches will be played on our continent. DOHA (GoPharaohs.com) - Egypt’s Olympic team defeated their South African counterpart on Monday 1-0 in their semi-final match of the Friendship Tournament hosted by Qatar. Egypt moves on to face Belarus, who defeated Qatar in the other semi-fnal match, in the final scheduled for Wednesday.
