El-Menyawi to remain as Ismaily head coach

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily officials indicated on Wednesday that they have stopped searching for a foriegn head coach for the football team and have decided to keep interim head coach Sabry El-Menyawi until the end of the season.

The decision came after Ismaily handed their rivals, Al-Ahly, a sour defeat in their recent Egyptian Premier League matchup. ”The Ismaily football team will be provided with all the provisions necessary to succeed”, said Yehia El-Komy.

In other news, Nigerian striker Atanda Sakibu was added to Ismaily’s lineup after a deal was reached with his former club Enyimba. The transfer cost Ismaily $150,000 (approximately 850,000LE).
