Ismaily bid for Zamalek’s Magdy Atwa & Abdel-Monsef

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily and Zamalek are currently in negotiations regarding the transfer of Zamalek’s Magdy Atwa and goalkeeper Mohamed Abdel-Monsef to Ismaily. Both players have voiced their desire to move to Ismaily from the beginning of the season, primarily to leave behind all the problems at Zamalek and get a real opportunity to play as starters.

Zamalek has requested 500,000LE in addition to Ahmed Khairy & Ahmed Khalifa, two of Ismaily up-and-coming youth players, in exchange for Atwa. Zamalek has also requested close to 500,000LE for Abdel-Monsef and insisted that his trade only be a loan for a predetermined period of time.

Ismaily refused the notion of letting go of Khairy and Khalifa as they will be utilized to fill the void that Ahmed Fathy leaves behind when he moves to Sheffield United. Ismaily also indicated that they are willing to pay “any price” for the two Zamalek players.
