Shehata prepares for Egypt friendly against Sweden

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Egyptian national team head coach Hassan Shehata is beginning preparations for his team’s upcoming international friendly against Sweden. The match was arranged in celebration of 50 years since the inception of the CAF and is scheduled for the 7th of February at Cairo international stadium.

Shawky Ghareeb indicated that the plan is to begin the camp on the 20th of January and only include players in the local Egyptian clubs. Communication with Egypt’s professional players abroad is also ongoing, Ghareeb said. Hossam Ghaly’s recent injury is also being monitored. Shehata would like Ghaly to join Egypt’s ranks on the 7th.

Another training camp which will include all players is scheduled for the 3rd of February.
