Zamalek defeat Enppi 2-0

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Zamalek defeated Enppi 2-0 in their Egyptian Premier League week 17 game at Cairo International Stadium. The White Tribe put on a good show in the first half but were quite mediocre in the second half. Enppi did not put up a good fight throughout the match.

Abd El-Halim Ali scored early for Zamalek in the 7th minute and Osama Hassan added the second in the 29th minute. Zamalek now have 33 points trailing by 5 points behind Ismaily who are in second place and 11 points behind Al-Ahly who lead the league standings with 44 points.

Both Ismaily and Al-Ahly won their matches today. Ismaily narrowly defeated Ghazl El-Mahalla 3-2 at Ismailia while Al-Ahly hammered Mokawloon 5-1 at the Arab Contractors stadium.
