Al-Ahly dominate Haras Al-Hodoud 4-0

CAIRO (Gopharaohs.com) - Al-Ahly earned three more points and distanced themselves from the competition by an 11 point margin after a sweeping victory over Haras Al-Hodoud in their Egyptian Premier League week 20 matchup.

Al-Ahly newcomer Abd El-Hamid Hassan scored the first goal only two minutes into the game. Emad Meteb scored the second goal from a penalty kick awarded to him. The initial penalty kick was blocked by the Haras keeper but a quick Meteb followed after the block and scored the second goal in the 23rd minute. Mohamed shawky scored the third goal in the 67th minute while Flavio capped it off with a fourth goal with less than ten minute remaining in the game.

Jose throws fit

Manuel Jose was asked to leave the game after he threw a fit in response to a series of rough tackles on Al-Ahly players. During this episode, Jose took his jacket off and began to take off his shirt. He later apologized for his actions but defended his right to express his frustration over the unnecessarily rough treatment his players receive from opponents.

Al-Ahly breaks away from competition

Al-Ahly dominated the game and reaffirmed their position as the league standing leaders with an intimidating 11 point margin ahead of rivals Zamalek and Ismaily who each have 42 points.
