Olympic team earns ticket to All-Africa Games

ALEXANDRIA (GoPharaohs.com) - After a being dealt an unexpected loss of 0-2 in Addis Ababa on February 25th, Egypt’s Olympic team managed to come out victorious despite the odds and defeat their Ethiopian counterpart 4-0 to exceed the goal difference needed for them to advance.

With this victory, the Egyptian Olympic team qualified to the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algeria which will be held between July 11th and the 23rd in the captial city of Algiers.

Goal scorers for Egypt were Kareem Zikry (2 goals), Amr El-Halawani and Mohamed Ragab “Ree’o”.
