Recovering Abu Treika joins Ahly training

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Al-Ahly star midfielder Mohamed Abu Treika, who is recovering from injury, joined his team’s training session on Saturday in preparation for their league match against Al-Masry. Abu Treika has been out of commission for a couple of months due to injury.

In a statement to the press on Saturday, Al-Ahly said that Abu Treika will gradually increase his participation with the team’s training sessions and will continue to participate in the special training sessions for the team’s injured players. Al-Ahly hopes that Abu Treika will be ready for the second-leg CAF Champions League clash against Highlanders of Zimbabwe which will take place in Cairo.

In other news, Mohamed Barakat returned from Germany Saturday evening. Barakat was also recovering from injury in Germany and participated in Bayern Munchen’s training sessions there. Al-Ahly says that Barakat has fully recovered.
