Al-Ahly schedules Benfica friendly

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - As part of Al-Ahly’s centennial celebrations, the African champions will be hosting Portugese giants Benfica at Cairo International Stadium on July 28th. The friendly match will be the second Al-Ahly hosts against a large international club at home.

The two sides have agreed to the friendly game at Cairo. Benfica’s president or vice-president will arrive in Cairo in the coming days to sign the agreement and make it official.

Al-Ahly hosted FC Barcelona of Spain in Cairo last week and lost 4-0.
