Ismaily’s Abu Greisha in 2007 FIFA top scorers

ISMAILIA (GoPharaohs.com) - Ismaily’s Mohamed Mohsen Abu Greisha was listed in the 2007 FIFA top goal scorers list. He was ranked 35th in the list as a result of his 4 international goals with his club during the African Confederations Cup.

Three of Abu Greisha’s four goals were scored against Madagascar champs Ajeseia in the round of 32. He scored his most recent goal in the round of 16 against Zambia’s champions Green Buffaloes. Ironically, Abu Greisha has been threatening to leave Ismaily because of his lack of participation after Patric Neveu took over the position of head coach.

Mohamed Noah, a player in a Singapore local club, was at the top of the list with 11 goals. Al-Ahly’s Angolan striker Flavio was ranked in 26th also with 4 goals, two of which were with Al-Ahly against Sundowns of South Africa and against Highlanders, Zimbabwe’s champs.
