Olympic team in search of new head coach
CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - The Egyptian Football Association’s board will meet to begin the process of selecting a new head coach for Egypt’s Olympic team after their current head coach Vingada has requested to leave.
Vingada expressed his wishes to leave the position after the Olympic team exited the qualfiers for the 2008 Beijing Olympic games. He said that his job is done here and that someone else should be given the opportunity to lead Egypt’s Olympic team.
On another related note, Egypt’s National team head coach Hassan Shehata has decided to include two of the Olympic team’s players in his lineup against Kuwait in their upcoming international friendly match to be played in Kuwait. The players chosen by Shehata are Hossam Ashour, Kareem Zikry, Ahmed Samir Farag, Abdallah El-Saeed, Ahmed El-Mohammady and Amr El-Halawani.
