Egyptian Cup round of 16 kicks off

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - The 2006-2007 Egyptian Cup round of 16 kicks off on Friday, May 4th with the first matchup taking place between Zamalek and Bani Sweif at Cairo International Stadium.

On Saturday, May 6th, Al-Ahly is scheduled to play against Petrojet. The match will be played at Cairo International Stadium.

Tuesday will witness four games; Tersana vs. Talaae Al-Geish, Mansoura vs. Mokawloon, Haras Al-Hodoud vs. Olympic and Tanta vs. Asyut Petroleum.

The last of the round of 16 matches will be played on May 28 and will put Suez Cement up against Enppi and Al-Masry vs. Ismaily.

Any games resulting in a draw after regulation time will be extended for another half hour (two halves, 15 minutes each). If a victor does not emerge, teams will have to resort to penalty kicks.
