Four Ahly starters to miss Al-Geish match

CAIRO (GoPharaohs.com) - Four of Al-Ahly’s starting players will miss Al-Ahly’s upcoming Egyptian Premier League match against Al-Geish which is scheduled for May 13th.

All four players received their second booking in their Egyptian Cup match against Petrojet. The four players are Hossam Ashour, Flavio, Wael Gomaa and Ahmed Shedeed Kenawi.

The entire team has been given permission by head coach Manuel Jose to rest on Sunday and Monday and will resume their regular training sessions on Tuesday in preparation for the Geish match. Should Al-Ahly win this match, they will have secured their position as the league title holder for the 2006/2007 league match. They squandered the opportunity last week to finish the league race early when they drew with Petrojet 2-2.
